RED RIBBON WEEK!
During October 23th - October 31, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon week. The SADD club is teaming up with students, faculty, administration and staff to promote living a drug free lifestyle. This year's theme is "Your Choices are the KEY to your Dreams".  High school students who wear their ribbons will have opportunities to win Snack Prizes this year for proudly displaying their ribbon.

December - Throughout the month of December, the SADD club is proud to sell "Above the influence" t-shirts designed by the club in support of students, faculty, and the community teaming for a drug free Meyersdale. T-shirts will be sold for $12 and the SADD club will earn $1 for every shirt that they sell. February - Four junior members of the SADD club will attend the T.A.T.U (Teens Against Tobacco Use) convention at the Berlin community building. Students will be learning about the dangerous effects of Tobacco and what they can do as teenagers to spread the word about these health issues. Teaching and educational resources/materials will be provided from the American Lung Association, the American Respiratory Alliance and the Somerset Hospital. Information about a new program entitled "Young lungs at play" will also be provided.
